Founded in 2007 as a separate entity in the Bassoe Group to serve external customers within the offshore and maritime industry, and to support the Bassoe Group with technical expertise and concept development.

BassTech is a consultancy company specialising in marine and offshore engineering, and innovative design. We provide services related to design of floaters for the oil and gas industry, site supervision and operational support. 

BassTech and Bassoe Technology consist of a group highly dedicated and dynamic professionals, with average experience of more than 15 years in design and construction of semi-submersibles. We offer our assistance when it comes to design of mobile offshore units for the oil and gas industry, whether it is services for drilling, production, merchant ships and floating dry docks. BassTech AS is based in Oslo, Norway and the managing director is Truls H. Rosenberg. Its subsidiary, Bassoe Technology AB is located in Gothenburg, Sweden.
